meteorologist christina loren, can you give us any good news? the only bit of good news i can give you, jon and marla, is these winds are not offshore breezes meaning they're not drying out. the southwesterly flow and humidity actually up a little bit this morning. it's going to help the firefighters for the next few hours. once we get into the afternoon, relative humidity is a product of temperature and plois tour. we are going to see the teens return. relative humidity is low later tonight. we got an update on the acres burned. this came in about an hour ago. 105,620 acres at this point. the elevations at 3,000 feet. this is a very dangerous situation because the higher you go up in elevation, the easier it is for the wind to move around. you lack the frick shen when you head up in the atmosphere. for us today we have a better scenario. we saw the red flag warning expire for the north bay. on wednesday, you probably notice not as humid out there. temperatures will be much more comfortable. done with the threat of dry lightning in the bay area.
