i'm meteorologist christine hanson. temperatures shot up yesterday. i'll tell you what we expect for the upcoming weekend. >> this is the 9th anniversary of the attacks of 9/11 and we will bring you live abc news coverage for the memorial service at ground zero at 5:42, the exact time the first plane hit the world trade center. our coverage continues on the devastating san bruno fire which dozens remain evacuated from thursday night's explosion and fire along a pg&e pipeline. here's the situation now. there are four confirmed fatalities from the explosion and fire. today six dog teams will be there. there is no time line for when residents can reenter. they hope to narrow the evacuation area and let some people back in today. while it's still too dangerous to get back into the fire zone, news crews were able to get a quick look into the disaster area. >> glenview drive and earl avenue is ground zero and this ruptured pipeline is what started it all. a piece of a 30 inch pipeline is the middle of the intersection. the explosion was apparently so strong

christine hanson is in for lisa argen. what say you? >> well, we love this september weather. i want to show you this picture, yesterday was clear sailing all across the bay area. we could see from the high definition from emeryville all across the city. there are a few more clouds out this morning and that triggers a change in the forecast. we will see that in the form of cooler temperatures. so a beautiful day ahead and some fall-like weather, temperatures dropped into the 40s. starting come in the 50s. we've got cooler air coming on shore. that is going to allow us to see our temperatures over the next couple of days -- check the computer for just a second -- and we will continue to see a nice weather pattern but we're also going to see the weather pattern break down just a little bit over the next couple of days as the cooler weather system comes off the pacific. forecast does call for a pretty day, yesterday we were in the 80s around the bay and we'll continue to see those readings at least well inland today especially around the delta and in the north bay. we've got some
