one of the men walked in on the defense started taking all of the stuff there. 9news reporter christine noel joins us live from was mr. where the homeowner did get a pretty good look at the suspects . >> reporter: yes good morning gary it's been more than 12 hours since then robbery occurred at a home in westminster and early this morning officers are still searching for three of the four suspects involved, one being a woman with distinct bright pink hair that officers are looking for. this all began around 3:30 yesterday afternoon as officers responded to a call of a robbery in the home of the 12,000 block -- block of bannock street. they found four people, three men and a woman with that pink hair stealing items from inside his garage. when he confronted them, things turned violent as one of the suspects to punch the homeowner in the face -- punched the homeowner in the face. the intersection of 120th and huron. they say the suspect pulled out a gun and that's when two officers shot the man then he was killed. no officers were injured in this but meanwhile three other suspects fled in a ch

a colorado woman who nearly lost her life to sepsis is now she spoke with 9news reporter christine noel. >> reporter: for 4 1/2 decades -- >> i'm big into running and skiing. >> reporter: -- life as christine lance knew it was full, happy, a mother of three boys. >> we're very active. we are a big skiing family. >> reporter: -- she was always on the go always moving, that is, until three years ago. >> i started to feel a little stopped her in her tracks. in november, 2013 christine had a routine procedure done. it was successful. a few weeks later she started feeling sick. >> i went to see the doctor and was diagnosed with the flu. >> reporter: four days later christine's health took a turn for the worse. >> completely down and out and was diagnosed with septic shock. >> reporter: septic shock, a result of sepsis, an infection in the bloodstream that had spread through her entire body. her organs were shutting down. >> she was very ill. >> reporter: doctors at presbyterian st. luke's put her on antibiotics, drugs that ultimately saved her life. >> they took one at a time. >> reporter: b

requires homeowners to register with the city in order to rent out their home. 9news reporter christine noel joining us now. the city is sending out reminders? >> yes. more and more residents are listing their house or room on sites like vrbo or airbnb. earlier this summer city council implemented new rules to get a short term rental license. you haven't done that yet, you'll receive a letter like this in the mail. you have until december 31st to get a short term rental license or potentially face a hefty fine. here are the reminder. owners can rent their primary residence less than 30 days at a time and must get a lodger's tax id and need the okay from their hoa if they have one. renters must certify they have permission from their land lord to do short a spokesperson for the city's department of excise and licensing says this soft force the beganup 1st. they're giving owners six months to get this str license. come the is first of the year -- come the first of the year you have to have a rental license. it's $25 to apply and can be done online. >> we've really tried hard as a city to make
