in this week's story tellers 9news reporter christine noel and mike grady bring us the unlikely story of jack and amber and the standley lake marching band. >> reporter: turning 16 is the right of passage. what's important is in the eye of the beholder. >> but when they turned bad i got mad. >> reporter: yes, jack has a serious thing for star wars and lego. but the real passionate in loyalty is with his best buddy. >> amber is 9 years old. i got her in september 2008. >> reporter: when she was just a service pup in training. now she is his partner in crime, the helpful side kick. one that jack is needed for nearly a decade. >> i did, i know i mutation. there is my lovely little spontaneous mutation. >> reporter: when jack was a toddler he was diagnosed with duchenne muscular dystrophy. >> it's the most progressive and most lethal. >> reporter: over the years he began losing muscle strength in his legs and torso. >> typically they would lose their ability to walk around 12. jack walked until he was 14. >> reporter: two years ago he was fitted in this 400-pound else. >> good girl. >> re

in parker christine noel, 9news. >> the wilsons are in touch with marley's biological parents. they exchange letters and pictures a few times a year. another twist in the story. marley has a biological story who just turned 18 years old and a reunion may happen in the future. >>> a florida woman who gave birth in her car in a hospital parking lot is billed a delivery room fee even though delivery room. paula diamora's husband caught the baby's head as nurses ran out to help with the rest of the delivery in the fair line outside boca raton's reg -- fire line outside boca raton's regional hospital. now the family has received a bill for the full delivery room fee of $7,000. mom said she planned for the birthing costs but thought since she never made it inside that the hospital would adjust the bill. >> i knew i was responsible for $5,000. that's not the issue. the issue is i look at this delivery charge and i think that's a little outrageous. >> yeah. >> yeah, that is outrageous. that's insane. the hospital spokesperson said administration had no comment. 9wants to know reporter
