christopher wray is a much less political choice, and i think many people in the senate will find that a relief barring any surprising disclosures in the vetting process. it seems like he's very likely to be confirmed. he was head of the criminal division in the george w. bush administration and the justice department. that's a job that is a highly respected job, but not an especially political job. so i think that's something that this choice is likely to be very popular on both sides. >> we're looking at the hearing room right now for the senate intelligence committee and there's marco rubio right there and we were discussing him. it seems to me the democratic members got there a lot earlier than some of the republican members. maybe they were more eager for this questioning and some of the people testifying are now sitting down so we may break out the minute they start talking.
