news 3's christy wilcox has been gathering more information. what can you tell us? witnesses say that that man was in the apartment during the shooting. that apartment right here behind us. metro does say that man has warrants and they are holding him to see if he was involved in the shooting. they also tell us there's one woman in the apartment but they think she was staying there. she is not a suspect. police tell us when the 30-year-old hispanic man was shot, the same woman helped him out of the apartment but he died moments later. detectives said there were multiple handguns found at the once by a gunshot wound to the chest. police also tell us this does not appear to be a domestic dispute and could be gang-related because the victim has gang ties according to metro. as for the people who live in the area, they are concerned about violent crime. >> gangs and drugs and we'll be the ones who will suffer. i don't want my kids seeing me laying out in the alley behind
