we want to go to the storm center and meteorologist chuck bell. what are you seeing? >> the first round of bad weather is leaving. all eyes are going to be focused to the blue ridge for another line of showers to develop. the view from the camera over d.c., a lot of dark skies across parts of southern maryland. that's where the biggest and baddest thunderstorms are. calvert county, the rain cells are headed to the northeast and will be over the bay in the next little bit. it's raining hard from calvert beach to leonardtown and mechanicsville, route 5 and route 2 in southern maryland. expect delays when traveling there. here is the next line of showers developing near the blue ridge. as they come back to the warmer, more humid air, they may start to intensify. there's an upward trend in the sensety, so they have to be watched. the watch goes until 9:00 and a flash flood watch until 10:00 for the metro, northern maryland and eastern shores. we'll keep a very, very close eye on this. the rest of the evening, a possibility of strong to severe thunderstorm. tomorrow, more
