chuck bell is driving in the storm team 4 x 4. how are things going? >> reporter: as you can see in front of us there is a car, this is the approach from maryland getting on to the woodrow wilson bridge. that car just spun out right this. so we are now getting on to the open bridge span here. so 295 south going on to the woodrow wilson bridge heading in to virginia. so be extra careful this morning. most of the travel lanes are just fine but as you saw right there, some of the median strip, a little bts of ice left in a few spots. so be extra alert this morning on your drive in because you could have a spinout right here going on to the woodrow wilson bridge. but most of the main roads have been just fine but it's the sides of the roads, medians and some of the less traveled roads that will have problems for you. but as you can see here so far so good. and didn't worry about the snowflakes, just a coating. it won't bother you at all. >> thanks. i appreciate that. it's now 6:17. bowser is facing criticism for when she declared a snow emergency. crews we
