the fabulous redesign of the building, it was, we turned it over to our construction manager's, joe chung the deputy chief of construction management is here. and ray branigan is a manager over the whole program and john sullivan couldn't be here because he promised to take us to the giants game but who hiffed here, almost literally, for the last two years, working also with curtis -- heartdigen. who was an intern that provided assistance. all of those departments working hard on this project if years to deliver this great library to you all. part of what made their job, i won't say it was easy, but made it a great project to work on as we had a great contractor. and i know, deshawn is here and brian from isac, it was a great challenging project and they did a great job. please give them a hand. >> and then finally, i just want to reiterate what luis said, leena chin and mindy and the rest of the folks that are managing the whole blip program do an outstanding job are making sure your tax dollars are well spent. this project, like we strive for in everyone, was on time, it was on budget.

this nonre-elect comes after months of me bringing to principal chung's attention the unsafe conditions of my classroom. after being injured in october as well and not being able to return to work for five days, i requested a meeting to discuss the safety conditions at my school. i'm sorry, rather in my classroom. i told her i needed consistent aides and aides trained to work with students we emotional disturbance in order to keep the students, the support staff and myself stay safe and my concerns were ignored. on the surface the safety in my classroom seemed to improve over the school year because of the behavior management program, the economic program, the social-emotional program and the relationships that i built and put in place in the classroom. however, the safety supports to deal with crisis situations were not put in place and the diven that has led to me receiving this nonre-elect is an example of the improper support that i have received in this placement. thank you. president mendoza: thank you. >> hello. my name is carlos castillo. i'd like to bring to your attention on t

i also want to apologize for christina chung for not being here today. she is on medical leave of absence. i am the board president of san francisco village. we began in 2007 as richmond village, became richmond village, and then just san francisco village. people want to be a part of a city-wide organization that includes people from all over san francisco, all at the same time, getting to know people in the neighborhoods. the macro and micro in one package. our strategic partners are particularly interested in supporting one central organization. we are also an organization committed to representing diversity in the city. if the city funds villages to reach out to low income members, this is what we will do, working with the city. first, we want to acknowledge this is a major task. very important, a team effort that will be required. we will collaborate with our partners, service providers, and next sf. we will create new partnerships with senior centers and aging organizations throughout the city. we will work with the leaders of major aging organizat
