central intelligence agency the cia has been arrested let's go live now to our correspondent in tehran doors. door so what more do we know. well there was a briefing held this morning and the head of the anti espionage unit of the intelligence ministry announced that 17 iranian nationals have been arrested and their sentences have been issued and some of them will be sentenced to death apparently this spy network was uncovered recently inside the country and includes the promise by the cia that these iranians would work for them and gather information and carry out intelligence and technical operations inside iran in the in exchange they will receive visas or extend the visas that they would have had from the american government this is one of the things the intelligent ministry ministry said they also said that the individuals were recruited by the cia to work in certain vital and sensitive areas of the governments that includes the country's nuclear program as well as the cyber units inside different ministries the ministry said that these events have been documented they release a d
