cindy: that' s right. we had snow and sleet this morning. now we are transitioning more into a freezing rain concern. that is why winter weather advisory' s are up until 7:00 this evening. along to the north and west of 495 because that is where we are dealing with some wintry weather and freezing rain and even a little bit of sleet and a few snowflakes mixed in. north shore coming to boston, metrowest, all the way down to the south shore in the kit, we are talking about rain with temperatures in the upper 30' s. you contrast that with what is happening out in worcester where it is 31 degrees and that freezing rain. continue to drain down on a northeasterly wind. we set of this coastal front, very typical in these types of situations. that is why we are concerned that freezing rain will persist into the afternoon. the backend of the precipitation is near. we are starting to taper down the facilitation, but pockets of freezing drizzle may persist outside of 495. look for it to taper off at three: p.m. -- at 3:00 p.m. freezing temperatures cou
