police evacuated the edgewater multiplex cinema after a call came in about shots fired and a suspicious package. the edgewater mayor says the scare started when somebody who was standing on top of a chair fell off of it. that caused a loud noise, and someone yelled bomb. the theater goers panicked. in the end, they didn't find anything. the cinema was given the all clear. >>> this morning, a man is recovering after being shot while visiting friends in a high-end long island neighborhood. the man is in town from virginia, answered the door at this home in dix hills friday night. the friend yelled out to the homeowner to call 911 just before the shot was fired. the homeowner says the gunman came to his house hours earlier apparently looking for someone else. >> my concern was, was the guy going to get into the house and then were we going to be able to get a call out before he did something to everybody in the house. >> the friend who was shot is in the hospital and is expected to survive. >>> this morning, investigators hope that an autopsy will answer some questions about a pregnant wom
