we're going to turn now to cinthia pimentel and a quick look at our microclimate forecast. show yesterday was canceled in san francisco. lots of fog. that was rolling through. and a similar situation this morning, even some slick roadways. so all of that condensation out there. something to watch as we go on and get ready for the biggest air show today. now i have better news. i see more clearing in the models right now at the latest run. we will still watch for the marine layer this morning as we take it to about 1011, and then start getting into some clearing right around noon and into the 3:00 hour. when they do perform some of those bigger stunts, we see partly cloudy skies. i'm going to keep it towards the part of the ocean beach side of the city, right around the golden gate bridge and the embarcadero. i do see better clearing so some good news there. hopefully that holds as we go on into the afternoon. other places around the bay. let's get a check down here in san jose we are starting off a little bit more mild. we'll dip down those temperatures right around sunrise

let's get over to cinthia pimentel for a look at the current temperatures. cynthia, i see a lot of 80s behind you. a lot of 80s. and that's the story for a big part of the bay area. if you live out towards tracy, though still in the mid 90s, i'll tell you why. some numbers are a little different. pay attention to our coastline. the presence of a very shallow marine layer dropped those temperatures and made it feel just a touch cooler. right now. some readings coming in at 58 in santa cruz, 69 half moon bay, and to some mid 50s in point reyes. so if you're along the coast, you definitely felt a little bit of relief as the day went on. we beat some records though for today. let me show you. san rafael came in at 106. the last time. it was very warm back in 2014. in the 90s, oakland museum at 97 and 99, in redwood city. and we're going to continue with this relentless heat as we plan our sunday in the bay area. some of those plans might have to be moved to the earlier part of the morning or later on at night, as that dangerous heat continues with the heat warni

cinthia pimentel tracking the latest for us. cynthia. as we went through the day today, we got a little bit more of that recovery. you might have noticed some more clouds up in the sky, places along the coast and the north bay bumped up that humidity a little bit for today, but places that continue to struggle were out towards the east bay and walnut creek, not making it past that 50% mark. and also down here into the south bay, where we remain pretty dry and warm as the day went on. and we're going to continue with that pattern as we go on into the early parts of the week, actually bringing up those temperatures a little bit summerlike as we go on into wednesday. so again, the winds dying down, but that elevated fire concern still stays with us even as we look towards the end of the week, where we could look at that spotty rain chance it won't be enough to bring us out of these critical conditions. so i'll be back with the full microclimate forecast in just a little bit. back to you. thanks, cynthia. as a reminder, we are debuting a red

cinthia pimentel is here with a look at that critically dry october november in the bay area. but as we went through the day today, we got more of that onshore flow, got rid of that red flag warning yesterday, and those humidity numbers bumped up a little bit better through places along the coast. san francisco being one of them. also in oakland, where that sea breeze also just brought down those numbers temperature wise, a little bit. san jose and the south bay still critically dry, but the wind and the marine layer should start to make it on through as we go on into our monday morning. might also bring about a little bit of that drizzle near the coast. there are still some warm days ahead as we look towards the full microclimate forecast. in a few minutes and we'll walk through some very warm, dry critical conditions with that high fire danger. as we build up those temperatures through wednesday at least, and then cool things down, maybe get in a spotty rain chance as we go towards the end of the week. but i don't think it will be enough to get us out of that heightened conc
