we have the founder and cio at avm capital.e the start to the year in many different ways. what are your thoughts looking into your crystal ball for the next few months? >> i think most investors came into this thinking it would be a continuation of what happened in november and december. the interest rates may be did push too far. now we are waiting for confirmation that the fed will stop the cutting cycle in the first half of this year. right now the markets are predicting a 50-50 cut in march. we think the inflation story is strong enough at the moment to warrant cuts to start in the first half of the year, whether they start in march or may is not relevant. once it starts, we expect cuts every meeting until we get in line with 2% inflation. i think the markets have been investing too far ahead with the theme. if they do not cut in march, may be a selloff in bonds in the next month or so. that would be a great opportunity to add risk. when it comes to equities, it's slightly this -- slightly different. tech sectors are doing
