we still have a few thin clouds, cirrus moving across. other than that skies are clear. the thin clouds tomorrow will be replaced by a cooler air mass. this trough although the rain will stay to the pacific northwest, it will bring about some cooler air and will kick up the winds. temperatures fall and winds pick up. it gets gusty for your thursday. by friday as the wind starts to drop off, we will see the warming trend beginning. and that warming trend will take us well into the weekend and even beyond. tonight look for cool read readings with the coolest in our valleys. 41 in santa rosa. napa a degree higher at 42. you can see upper 40s around richmond, oakland, san francisco, san mateo and san jose. and so tomorrow afternoon look for temperatures to range from the mid50s in places like half moon bay where the wind will really be blowing out of the west northwest and gusting as high as 30 and close to 40 meals an hour at times. san francisco 59 degrees and a windy afternoon. you will notice 68 in santa rosa. these temperatures are down by a couple degrees. 66 napa. you

beautiful cirrus clouds above san francisco. and looking good as we head in toward a friday afternoon. hey, these temperatures are going to be warming up outside. plan on 60s and even some low 70s as we head toward the inland spots. again, a slight chance of showers to the north. well, it looks like tonight we will see mostly cloudy skies developing once again as another band of moisture going to move in over the top of that ridge and keeping a chance of showers in parts of the north bay. otherwise clouds dancing with the moon outside and this is the reason why. we have this ridge of high pressure in control but it's kind of flat so you have a lot of this energy that runs right over the top of it. the focus for the rain is north of the bay area. but occasionally you see some of these cells drop further south and bring with it a chance of a couple of raindrops. still it will be dry for most for the entire bay area. dry for the weekend 60s and 70s. high country showers, breezy conditions today, mostly cloudy saturday, chance of ra

there is the scene, just a few high, thin cirrus clouds overhead but overall, unlimited visibility. and if you are going to be out and about take a look at some of the temperatures right now in throughout some of our neighborhoods. campbell after a high of 91 degrees, reporting 89. oakland at 87 degrees. castro valley at 85. napa at 84. some neighborhoods a little bit warmer than others. and in oakland and claremont hills, where you are the recipient of that offshore wind it's really ushering up that temperature but for the most part for the next 60 minutes here's the temperatures into the 70s and 80s. lots of bright sunshine. a bet of a breeze however. that offshore wind going up to 15 miles per hour. extremely mild overnight into the 50s and few low 60s south of san jose towards hollister. storm track as well to the north of the bay area. gives you a good idea that the ridge of high pressure is right about here where even ukiah today sported a high in the upper 80s. now, this high pressure is strengthening, how far we have this low here that's going to continue to cause a little b
