those are the thin cirrus cloud cover overhead. 85 in the district, 82 in gaithersburg and 85 in lexington park. quantico, 84. but much cooler to the northwest. cumberland almost -- only 70. hagerstown, 75. the added cloud cover closer to the thunderstorm complex falling apart in parts of pennsylvania and moving toward west virginia and western maryland. garrett county getting clipped by some rain. we could use some showers down here. we could use some organized soaking rain. cumberland maryland, just on the edge. here is a time lapse showing that under some complex. notice the west side is strong debris that was severe in parts of chicago. very early this morning, and usual time of day. that is closer to the core of the heat and humidity with the south was followed just juicing up the part of the storm. the east side is falling apart as it moves southward. isolated thundershowers. this indicates the jets screamed. if it the big push northward it pulls the heat and humidity from the south very far to the north. the record-breaking air is in the midwest. talking high temp disk from 95 to 10
