we see high, thin cirrus clouds. generally speaking, mostly clear. i morning, cooler areas north of town could dip lower. the winds overnight just about calm. this big area of pressure near the great lakes is producing this great june weather. it will be here tomorrow. maybe a few clouds passing time to time. overall, another spectacular june day. the storm in the midwest and this moisture in the gulf coas will converge on our area. this gulf coast moisture is a system the hurricane center thinks is a chance to become a tropical storm. about a 40% chance we we will see a named storm developing in the gulf. right now, developing around key west. at the a look futurecast. lots of sun, beautiful day, maybe a shower in the mountains toward evening. thursday, clouds increasing. the potential for a few spotty showers thursday evening. that moisture in the golf searching north, we get a chance for some showers and thunderstorms. some of that rain could be heavy on friday and into friday afternoon as the tropical moisture comes up out of the gulf of mexico.
