seeing blue skies some high thin cirrus clouds today and temperature in the upper 40's so very comfortableather highlight shows that you yes we're enjoying a dose of december warmth. however, reality will be here right in time for the new year. but the past week temperatures running close to 13 degrees above normal and this december we only had a tenth of an inch of snow. that was on december 11th. so, we're basically in a snow drought. however, temperatures really drop and the winds will be picking up as we head towards new year's eve and new year's day you can see around lunchtime we're looking at the wind chills will be in the 20's. so, it's definitely going to feel like winter on wednesday and thursday. today, though, still pretty mild. the weekend temperatures were in the 50, no the quite that warm but our high today 48 degrees. that's 7 degrees above normal. record highs 72. the record low 1 degree below zero. the sun setting at 4:44. now that the winter solstice has passed our days are beginning to get a little bit longer and it's leading to some really beautiful sun sets. lisa post

week and right through the weekend, this is a great photo sent in to my facebook page, this shows cirrus clouds, that is latin for curly hook, known as mare's tails, they are made of ice crystals, 20,000 feet in the atmosphere and not thick enough to shade and get rid of the sun today. we finally saw some sunshine. 40 in millville and 39 in allentown and wilmington 38 and trenton 38, factor in the winds, we have windchills in the 30s and 20s and it's a lot cooler than yesterday. this time yesterday we were 10 degrees warmer than yesterday. it's 9 degrees cooler in reading. we do have clouds streaming in from a disturbance from the w t west. the moisture will miss us this weekend. as we head into friday, we have a breeze out of the north and it won't be as windy as today. temperatures on the cool side, the high is 3 degrees below average with a mixture of clouds and sunshine, the high pressure builds in and this will bring us calm conditions on saturday and drop the temperature more with a high of 40 degrees, and a mixture of clouds and sunshine, that low pressure i have been talking abou
