these are cirrus clouds anywhere from 16,000 to 22,000 feet in elevation.earance is generally light or gray. and what is so cool about this, they run in advancement of a frontal system or a tropical cyclone and we actually do have a frontal system offshore. it is a good indication that the weather will be deteriorating. and not until tomorrow. and temperature-wise, in the sifntle across the board. and 55 degrees with the clear skies in santa rosa. this is the frontal system. that has been hanging out, off the coast of san francisco. for the past 48 hours. and this right here, this is the rotation around the circulation, right here, of the core of the area of low pressure, and this is a wrap- around moisture. you can see the green on the screen, and that is why we have a chance of showers in the forecast by tomorrow evening into thursday. and also the possibility of a thunderstorm as this area of low pressure taps into some subtropical moisture. we do see some thunderstorms still in the forecast in the high sierra and a flash flood watch, in effect there, an
