they went to visit cities in iowa, visited a city in indiana and talk to the officials and all the data i've seen, state, federal, county, cityty everyday piece of data says they're safer and cheaper, but because the lights cost money and you have to add sometimes additional lanes, so it's safer. i would be derrell lick if i did -- derelict if i did something that was left safe than more safety. public safety is our number one concern. david talk about plic safety, but the police have actually asked for the system that w put in plala for the public safety officers, so they asked and suggested that to the city and we have a solid police department, a solid fire department, and i stand them up to anybody in the state of iowa. we talked about university avenue for a long time and some of the petitions submitted for from people outside of cedar falls and some people sign the petition more than once. there were at least ten people that sign it more than one time. that kind of bumps the numbers up a bit, so i don't feell they ve presented a position and i go door-knocking and very few people

i love this city. we're a world-class metropolitan facility and one thing that amazes me the warrior's organization, whenever an issue comes up, a negative issue, they have come up with a cohesive, conscientious and responsive plan to resolve those issues and would be easier for ambulance and emergency vehicles to get to the hospital on game day than on a regular game day because of the warrior's commit ment to designate lanes solely for getting to the hospital. the taxes that would be generated will be great for the city and the infrastructure. the jobs that will add and also i think we always talk about hidden costs and underestimating projects' complete costs. i think we're also underestimating how much benefit there will be because of the unforeseen things that will happen with this type of venue. for instance, republican or democratic convention. all of these things kind of bring tax dollars and tax money into the city. my job, i meet people from all over the world, from paris, milan, beijing and
