i know the city council of mountain view just ended their meeting last night around 3:30 this morning. so do we know if they made any decisions dealing with the rvs, ali? >> reporter: well, marcus, we are still trying to see the final decision. we arrived here just after 3:30. we spoke to one man who told us he was at that meeting. they said they started talking about this issue of rv parking at mountain view here on the streets. and they started around 7:00 last night. it didn't stop until 3:30 this morning, as you said. that just gives you an idea how tricky this issue is for not just this city but cities across 9 bay area trying to grapple with what to do about a living in rvs. a man we spoke to is a member of the mountain view tenants coalition. he joined dozens who showed up to voice their opposition to a ban on rv parking in the city. initially it was a proposed 24-hour ban on rv parking. then they started considering a ban between 2:00 and 6:00 in the morning. so a bit of a compromise. so there's also looking into a safe place -- they are also looking into a safe place for peop
