making sure the public can see what meetings are occurring every day at city hall, you are suggesting potentially that some of the notices will not be published and the city clerk's office will decide which will not be published. this potentially create an issue because what the newspaper does is, once it is published in that newspaper in a timely fashion, before the meeting, it is a public record that that meeting happened. if you take some of the notices and not put them in the newspapers, how do you intend to do with the fact you are controlling the website? it is not necessarily time stamped and will not be put out to the public in a timely fashion. i think that is an issue you should consider. i also think that the paper -- not only distributes hundreds of thousands of copies a day in the city -- all public notices are available on our website which is well visited. in fact, you can request a version of the paper. for those who cannot read it, it can be blown up and read. we are addressing not only the print but the electronic version. have a great day. >> thank you. i appreciate that. any other public comment? i th

the issue from the time the city gave mr. jacobson notice was about whether or not on the city side or on the property owner's side. i think that is clear. >> after mr. jacobsen -- we clearly it acknowledged there was a problem. you could see the sewage coming out of the trap. the question is why was it coming out? was a problem with the jacobsen's property or city property? when the jacobsen were notified about the problem, he had a plumber come out and he said that the problem was out in the city lines. there was discussion between jacobson and the city about that. the city said we decided it is on your property. there was a notice of violation that said there was a problem with the house trap, but did not specify the problem. how is it effective? it is my understanding that typically if there is a problem with the house trap, sewage will back up into the house, as opposed to the street. that said, the bottom line here, after all these years, the work has been completed, it has been finalized, it is code compliant, and the problem persists

as you begin to do that it forces the neighborhood associations and the city to really begin to take notice of what you are doing. if you are saying that this is an issue and the people that are not a part of that group are saying it's not that this is the other issue now and you build that momentum and do that work it forces them to say, we have to acknowledge this group or these people and invite them to come in. i guess you have to figure out what that issue is that's not being worked on or looked at our being acknowledges in that group and organize outside of it. >> just briefly, i agree with judy said about the by laws when created metma we set term limits. no one can hold an office for more than 2 consecutive 2 year terms. the reason is you don't want an organization to be with an individual or ideaiology. we have elections every other year. nominations in august and november meeting we have the election. every even year. except for the treasurer we want to keep the treasurer, other than that every officer must leave after 4 years. that, i think is the key poinlt much the other thing
