so we're seeing all this further away from the radar, up north into claremont, cheryls ford, catawba county, over to clouds. it picks up that snowfall. once you get into the over that. so you're seeing lighter snow amounts. but this is the place where it's snowing much more. they have higher humidity in the mountains. the snow's really coming down. look at the low humidity numbers, 35% in charlotte. that number will go down in the our air will get dryer. you'll feel your hands drying out here. it's going to get worse as the dry air comes this week. that's going to limit us to flurries for the future cast through the afternoon. it's looks impressive on the forecast but it's not going to be anything at all. in the mountains, we should see an easing of snow into the evening. but it'll add up more in here. the lower elevations, an inch or less, on the west side, a couple inches adding up. i checked at beach mountain, they reported about six inches of snowfall. so we've probably all ready seen a couple inches on top of that from what we had this morning. not done yet. we're at 40 in charlotte. l
