clarence thomas speaks very plain language about this, right? >> right. and what's interesting, john, this opinion is 5-4 but we're seeing a three way split here how this roe opinion could affect other rights like many in this country take for granted like the right to conception and the right to same sex marriage established in this court. what we saw from justice alito wroting, to ensure our decision is not misunderstood or mischaracterized we emphasize it concerns the constitutional right to abortion and no other right. nothing in this opinion should be understood to cast doubt in precedents that do not concern abortion. and justice brett kavanaugh also reiterated in his concurrence. however you noted justice clarence thomas was quite blunt what he wants. and here's the quote for him. in future cases we should consider all of this court's substantive due process precedents including griswold, lawrence and oobobergefell. we're seeing this conflict, justice thomas maybe wanting to go much further than some of the others. >> if i wanted to challenge same
