let's talk to our phenomenal panel of international correspondents nick paton walsh, cl clarissa ward arwa damon. what is happening in europe? >> essentially, i think you're seeing these moments like in italy is purely a vote on constitutional reform. these moments in which perhaps the electorate who have seen the choices they have in front of them for elections being pretty much about shades of gray. i've always seen the last two years of choices being a slicked back hair in a suit. go along with your sort of choice of pr spokesman depending on your mood that day. these choices like brexit a lot more sweeping. as we saw, i think, large numbers of people in britain who felt disenfranchised and live in rural areas and broader part of that sweep of reform in urban areas want to trash the train because they didn't understand many of the people on the train with them and thought now is the time like with donald trump's vote. a chance to actually change the nature of the game. see that in italy and austria, potentially, and a lot of that is finding voice in more troubling far right parties
