the ford foundation made all this work possible and we are very grateful to the ford foundation, clarissa and my friend david barth, in particular. so i think you're going to learn a lot, i mean, i think it's the largest refugee and idp crisis we've had ever more than world war ii and all sort of geostrategic implications has development implications, community implications. what shocked me is the levels of the growth that is projected in terms of people, if we do nothing. what's also shocked me the amount of money that we have been passively spending both in wealthy countries, in essence, all foreign aid has gone from a 2% to 10% in the last 10 years of all foreign aid globally has been spent in wealthy countries dealing with refugees. and then it's gone from about $4 billion that was spent on refugees and idp is all in 2006, it's now about $26 billion. it increased six times in the last ten years on the whole global issue on refugees and idp. it is fast approaching what we spend globally on global health, and so, if you're in the business, and you follow the stuff, global health is a bi
