this is the fourth and welcome to the four i'm claudine wong and i'm alex savage. ktvu is christian captain has been following this story throughout the day. he joins us now live from the hall of justice and christian. the district attorney chasing boutin is saying this practice is not just limited to san francisco. and the concern here, the d a says, is that using evidence from victims of sexual assault against them and possible criminal cases could dissuade those victims from coming forward with their stories. a sexual assault is already a traumatic enough event. now, san francisco's district attorney chase a boudin is saying that in at least one case, san francisco police obtained evidence from a rape kit and later used the victim's dna to tie that victim to a crime. the district attorney reading from a lab report, he says, laid out the details during a routine search. of the sfpd crime lab, forensic biology unit internal quality database. a match was detected and verified. direct comparisons with the sample listed below were performed, and it references a 2016
