six men and six women finding guilty of second degree good evening i'm claudine wong. it's the murder case that has made headlinesld. andttorneys on both sides as well as family members. but first let's take you back to where this all began. i want to show you the scene back on april 4th in3. spot near the bay bridge that police found tech executive bob lee at 230 in the morning. he had beend been callip, and he later died at the hospital. now at first, authorities thought it could be a random attack, but then as the investigation took hold, it led police to this man. that's 40 year old nima momeni a tech entrepreneur who was introduced to lee through his sister. he was arrested at his emeville home a week after the killing and charged with murder. which now brings us to the trial which started back in october 19 months after the lasted for six weeks. jury deliberations lasted for seven days. ktvu henry lee has covered this case from the beginning, and was there in the courtroom as the verdict was read this morning henry. >> well, nima momeni is a newlymented murderer

good morning claudine.as been a lot of damage all across the bay area from this storm. and this morning, a lot of people looking to take their regular walk or run or maybe bike ride through this marina dog park are surprised to see the temporary fencing up. there are signs stating that it is closed because of storm damage. now the city says that this is for public safety reasons and this park will remain closed as crews clear debris until christmas eve. now all across the bay area, including in san francisco yesterday, golden gate park saw widespread damage. particularly many trees came crashing down on cars and right into the road. the national weather service said winds were reported at 80mph at times. officials there are cautioning people to avoid walking near trees due to dangerous conditions. san francisco rec and park closed many areas saturday, including stern grove, all of its golf courses and athletic fields. at the storm's peak, some 200,000 customers lost power. pg and e said crews have been work

. >> i'm mike mibach and i'm claudine wong. the fbi has been called in to help as investigators try to piece together a motive behind today's 1:00 this afternoon at the small feather river adventist school. that school only has about 35 studennds located in oroville in butte county. that's just about 30 miles south of chico. the butte county sheriff says the gunman arrived at the school to meet with the principal about enrolling a student. after the meeting, the principal said he heard shots and screaming. the two victims were taken to a sacramento area hospital and are listed in extremely critical condition. deputies say the gunman was found dead from what they believe is a self-inflicted gunshot wound. the sheriff said the meeting with the principal may have been just a ruse to get on campus. >> subject responsible for this shooting, targeted this school because of its affiliation with the seventh day adventist church. now, the preliminary information i have right now and what we're currently seeing, leads me at this point to

good evening, i'm claudine wong.onight, the man who made national headlines for an abduction case in the north bay was back in a bay area courtroom, this time for two assault cases that had until now gone unsolved. you may remember matthew mueller from the bizarre 2015 abduction case in vallejo, where aaron quinn told police in march of that year that his girlfriend, denise huskins, had been abducted by an intruder wearing a wet suit. he said that man tied them up and then made them drink a concoction that made them sleepy. huskins later turned up alive days later, but then the case took another turn when vallejo police accused the couple of lying and called the whole thing a hoax. that is until matthew mueller was arrested months later for a home invasion in dublin, and evidence from that case linked him to the huskins kidnaping and assault. he is now serving time in a federal prison, and that vallejo case led to a netflix documentary released earlier this year and a multi-million dollar settlement for the couple. a
