ktvu's claudine wong now has some more important new information. she is in san jose. claudine. reporter: well, good morning, pam. yes, the santa clara county jail has now confirmed for us that san jose police officer patrick d'arrigo is free at this hour. he did post bail from here at the main jail in san jose at 1:42 this morning and was released. d'arrigo was booked yesterday on three charges involving two teenaged boys in an investigation that apparently had been under way for a couple of years. gilroy police heading up that investigation, but because d'arrigo is an officer with san jose, the san jose police department internal affairs division was also involved. now, according to the mercury news, the charges involve a 15- year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy and came after reports of alcohol and minors at the officer's gilroy home. he was arrested yesterday afternoon, but this is not the first time he's been in trouble. >> patrick d'arrigo was a patrol officer from 1994, he was terminated at one point for a botched dui investigation that was in the media. he was reinstated a
