claudine wong is in fremont. >> reporter: i just got new information from police. they tell us the victims in this case were not in the crosswalk when this accident happened. they are still piecing together exactly what led up to this accident. it happened here at the intersection of mallory and piseo parkway. here's what we know. last night before 10:00 a 17- year-old girl and 19-year-old woman were walking west across the parkway. the 19-year-old was killing a three-month-old boy and all three were hit. the 17-year-old suffered nonlife threatening injuries but the three-month-old boy and 19-year-old were critically injured. >> the 19-year-old was carrying a three-month-old baby when they were struck by a vehicle. >> reporter: the driver was questioned overnight and has been released. all we know about him is he is 64 years old. he did stop at the scene and has been cooperating with police. the roadway was shut down for several hours but it is now back up. its still you can clear at this point if charges will be filed. live in fremont claudine wong ktvu channel 2
