we didn't hear too much about the cleanpowersf program. i was at the january 14th puc hearing and i strongly urge you to checkout the power enterprise budget information presented. a memo was available which i believe was the 14-15 two year planning cycle and indicated i think in one sentence that no work would be done on cleanpowersf by power enterprise. the focus seems to be on new high revenue customers and not on engagement. definitely a lot of information in those documents in terms of what the puc is thinking going forward and i don't think it do have dove tails what the lafco board is expecting. in-house scheduling is a comment that someone made earlier is something we heard the puc staff say they can do. and as mr. freed indicated that could actually not only not add to, but maybe even alleviate some of the funding issues that the puc is having. going to the rfp, we did as a group of advocates send a letter to the lafco staff and urged you to check that out and looking forward working on the lafco rfp going forward and assuming the

a status update on cleanpowersf program, status update on proceeding at the public utilities commission. we have miller to speak on these items. >> yes. barbara hale at the puc. speaking on item b and c first. as i believe you have been following, we've been having our public presentations about our budget and in private conversations as well with our general manager wefrment facing difficult times with the financial circumstances within power enterprise and with the power operations of hetch hetchy. we have some capital needs. we have higher than anticipated increases and cost for distribution services from pg & e and we are projected to be out of balance by fiscal year 16-17. in light of that, our direction from the general manager and commissioners are to really focus our efforts at the puc on solving that problem. so we are really refocusing in a way that helps us achieve our highest value revenue which points us more toward increasing the customers we serve on our publically owned utility side of the house if you will and not on our cca side. we are also looking of course at ways t

. >> the cleanpowersf program and the california public utilities commission and cleanpowersf energy efficiency and facilities and local jobs patrols strategies and. >> maybe thank you mr. chair typically we start the status with the status of the puc and barbara hail is here to provide that to you. >> thank you. most of our activities recently on the cca front for in puc proceedings where pg and e's green tariff option has continued to move forward. developing a green rate the statute requires a commission decision by july so we are expecting that the commission will need to issue at least a proposed decision in the april time frame in order to meet that statute requirement at this point we would expect pg and e's projected green tariff rate to be initially offered at 12.3 cents a kill owatt hour and that rate is forecast to increase to 9.4 cents a kilowatt hour in january so pg and e's basic service energy component of basic service rates is increasing come january to 9.4 cents and their current proposal before the cpuc under the green tariff option would be to offer the one hundre
