an update on the water levels at lake oroville and if officials will trigger an emergency operations plan. >> and our storm ranger mobile doppler radar is showing clearing skies but the pattern to the west still active. when you can expect the rain to make a comeback when we come back in just two minutes. crews n the oroville dam. >>> as the storm moves through, crews are keeping a close eye on the oroville dam. the department of water resources says so for that storm hasn't produced enough water to deploy the winter operations plan, which means the damaged spillway would have to be used. the spillway has only been partially repaired. it was put in place after last year's near-collapse of the dam. the spillway gave way, they were atrade the dam would give way. spillway would have to be used if water levels reached 830 feet. as of this morning it was 796. >>> san francisco giants back in action today. the tarps came off the field, the start of today's game was moved back a couple hours because of the rain and the storm that drenched the bay area last night led to the giants' first rainout in 12 years. they looked to face the dodgers here on nbc bay area
