someone witnessed that or the car could still be down the cliff. someone saw it go over and called it in. there were no skid marks so the car was speeding and launched or landed 600' down a cliff, 600' so the sheriff rescue team was called in and both the c.h.p. and the helicopter called in and of course the cliff rescue guys came down and one person had a broken ankle but they don't know if that person was ejected or crawled out and three others have broken legs, leg fractures and, back injuries and those victims had to be airlifted from the scene. four people were injured in a car going over the cliff and landing 600' down the embankment. can you see a fire truck coming from the scene and we do expect the road to re-open any time. that is what san mateo county sheriff deputies told me on the scene. they do believe speed was factor and they don't know whether alcohol was factor but we remind people as we head into the holiday season, slow down. be careful. from highway 92 this morning for abc7 news. >> the rescue sounds incredible. it is dark out
