nice guy just family man was really not that person and i think many americans thought he was cliff huxtable now we know that was simply not the case the real cause of the in real life was nothing like the cliff huxtable i think some people are still trying to reconcile that but many many women are saying they're over that they're a deceived justice and that no man is above the law now you it's interesting that you mention that this is bill cosby he's not the character of cliff huxtable at some point after he was found guilty in a courtroom he went on a tirade from perhaps now more people are seeing who he truly is. oh yes he was very very upset you know just found guilty of three felonies obviously the district attorney wanted him to be reprimanded and to go into custody immediately obviously his attorneys did not want that they wanted some time they didn't even want there to be a lack of a bail and so they said you know he's not a flight risk and i guess the district attorney has argued that yes he is a flight risk he has a plane at that point bill cosby got very upset very irate and said

if you loved cliff huxtable, you loved bill cosby. you know?worked for him, because it became a shield. he was america's dad. a title he didn't give himself, by the way. that was what the public gave him and embraced. yes. it was great that bill cosby was a philanthropist and bill cosby broke cultural barriers but doesn't match the fact that bill cosby is now a convicted felon. he was convicted. he is a convicted sex offendser, and i think more than anything else bill cosby achieved, that's what bill cosby needs to be remembered for. >> and it's also -- you have to wonder if cosby had not really put himself out as this sort of moral voice and he really did. i mean, bill cosby spent the better part of the '90s and early 2000s telling black boys to pull their pants up and stop using profanity. you have to wonder if he had not put himself out there like that, if, perhaps, some of this might not have been brought down on him? >> given the stories that existed about bill cosby for decades, it hit people really hard that here he was coming out as a m
