draghi talks about things not talking off the cliff but he did not to the fact that the pmi data has shown down. -- richardlarida and kaplan are saying we are not seeing runaway inflation. are we overpricing central banks? you probably will not see runaway inflation now that oil has corrected. this is convenient for the fed now that there is this discussion about if they are pushing things too far. even though they don't want to slaves to markets, it seems like they have broken that mentality. it does give them convenient cover to say maybe inflation isn't a problem. at headline level it probably won't be. strip away the impact of fuel prices, it is still pretty robust. the labor market is pretty healthy. they are meeting their mandates. i don't look at this as anything other than the fed meeting its policy path. i don't know if this changes anything. is reaction in the dollar someone interesting but i think some of that is down to over weights in the dollar, futures positioning. you have that a massive moving oil in the past three days, the narrative around yesterday. there may be some position clear out.
