if you're a democrat and love hillary clinton, you probably like hillary clinton unplugged giving a sortunvarnished not well crafted necessarily raw take on, hey, i won on 3 million more votes. if you love hillary clinton, you probably loved this. if you're republican, you're being looking at this and saying, the democratic party doesn't get it. if hillary clinton remains out front the foremost speaker of the face of the democratic party, a lot of republicans would feel happy about that feeling like if hillary clinton is the leader of the resistance, we beat her last time. so i think this raises question, how much do democrats want hillary clinton to be the leader of their resistance movement? >> and s.e. cu approximate. cupp, she said she thought misogyny played a role. >> members of her own party in 2008 new her far more than barack obama, the junior senator. they still chose him. it's possible, of course, that misogyny was part of this. to really take accountability, she'd have to understand that when it came down to it, a, people didn't like her and, b, democrats as a party did not r

part three is called clinton is vindicated, but no one knows it. some of you may have seen the rachel maddow asked show after the state department reviews there to-- report on how the e-mail system or handled and she came out with this huge stack of papers which represents how they are supposed to keep and classify their e-mails, completely archaic disheveled cumbersome system. it lead some people to conclude what's really going on here is a mess of a system, nothing to do with hillary clinton at all. then, part four is called james comey abuse of power act one. i will summarize a tiny bit and then i will read a page or two because i think you all remember the first james comey announcement. i don't really have to read the whole accounting in the book in which he delivered what many people thought was a mixedle verdict. he cleared her of all criminal charges, but he went on to accuse her of being extremely careless with her e-mails and in fact spent so much time talking about how careless she was that a number of people came away having seen that t

clinton did not lie about the damned e-mails. nor did she treat classified material in an extremely careless manner. the e-mail scandal, like many previous investigations into the clintons, was a whole lot of nothing blown to nuclear proportions by the g.o.p. and helpfully served up in an endless stream of tasty poisonous portions by the mainstream media. for week we snacked on high calorie accusations and i insinuations including some delivered permanently by vladimir putin, via wiki licks and then just as -- wikileakss and then as we appeared to be stuffed to brim and the attention turned though trumpish behavior that has shaken michelle obama and other women to her core we are were presented with a flaming dessert courtesy of james comey. the next couple of sections which i won't treat you describe how the e-mail scandal got constructed by the press. part one is called the scandal. it's born. part two is called, clinton becomes a criminal, courtesy of "the new york times." part three is called, clinton is vindicated but no one

barack obama has done enough for bill clinton and his family now, and bill clinton has done enough orarack obama and his family that i think they can along, even though they have vastly different personal and political stuff. charlie: what happened to hillary clinton? >> it was a combination of mismanagement -- there were so many factors here. we don't want to downgrade russia and comey, because those were obviously factors. reportingd i were this book, we started noticing these flaws in the campaign. i think all of them kind of contributed to it, she became the inevitable candidate again and that was a problem for her. there was a great sense of frustration among bernie sanders reporters. some of them voted for her and kind of held their breath and voted for her, and even now they don't quite understand why they did it. they did it because she wasn't trump, but she didn't have that energy behind her. i think all of these factors kind of late into that. charlie: did she get the young vote? >> not all of it. charlie: not as much as bernie sanders got in the primary. >> exactly great wh

what else did hillary clinton have to say? >> well, wolf, she criticized donald trump for his foreign policy and his tweeting habit and picked at one of his biggest sensitivities, that he lost the popular vote even though he won the presidential election. hillary clinton emerging as a leading antagonist to president trump. >> i'm now back to being an activist citizen and part of the resistance.
