commissioner clyde: thank you for your presentation. i live on lower 24 street, and it is impacted by trees. it is currently being surveyed, and i would like to know are the small property owners being responsible for these sidewalks. >> under the public works co, the property owner is responsible for the sidewalk and his drive for it. the only exception is if the trees -- and his driveway. the only exception is if the trees are maintained by the department of public works. if not, the responsibility would fall on the property owner. >> a couple questions. one i talked about with the staff before the meeting, but maybe the committee would like to know. i was approached by somebody who had suddenly that i'll leave behind their building had a gate on it, -- the alley behind their building had a gate on it, so it would be nice to know what the process is for coding and gave up, when is it -- for putting a gave up. the second is what is the process for someone who wants to use the sidewalks and outdoor benches to have coffee, not just tempo

commissioner clyde: item 15, general public comment. president o'brien: seeing none, next item. clerk: item 16, new business. commissioner kasselman: i would like to support a resolution that urges or requests the the department of building inspection and planning to expedite the relocation of those businesses and also, you know, the northern waterfront is on to be affected by the loss of all of those people working in that area. the shop in the area and eat out in that area, so i think it expedited process for a beneficial relocation should be encouraged, if we could draft a resolution, i would be very grateful period -- grateful. president o'brien: it was mentioned in the president's report, but i did have a meeting with the senior plumbing inspector at dbi, and he has advised me, and this may already be documented, about the legislation, and very briefly, the gist of this conversation was, you know, if we can be successful in the outreach and allow people to be aware of the legislation, it is going to be a lot better than if the dbi is called out there because of a complaint.

good evening, clyde. how are you? >> i am a little appalled some of our media outlets.some of the nonprofits are really playing this up. i know a lot more about these officers. i know a lot of them. they do not run around shooting people in wheelchairs'. they do not find somebody who looks a little weird and draw a 40 and shoot him. nonprofits are playing this up in the press. some of these people in wheelchairs' do not really need wheelchairs. walk down fifth street. there is a guy who gets $10 from tourists and walks to the tenderloin. we really need to look at this mental illness issue. how do we do mentally ill? our police department to stomach the habit of just shooting mentally ill people. if they had occasion, maybe it would not had to go like that. i am sorry at the murder rate the past few days. it is horrible. what that man did burning the car with that lady is puzzling, the most puzzling thing i have ever read. i wish him the death penalty. he would get the death penalty, a pri. president mazzucco: hearing no other public comment, please call line item number

being passengers on a russian ship and that's that's sort of it it's so a wounded pride thing one bit clyde revealed itself in comments by some american lawmakers astronaut scientists and former nasa official comedians in the u.s. did not miss out on poking fun at american sense of pride so reporting the cash but have the right on the hope of the backseat all the risk is take the wheel. yes you know you're not going to let us touch the radio they won't let us eat snacks or stop to use the bathroom should have gone before we left. use ok but those the nasa who now actually work with the russians like astronaut sunny williams have different sentiments i couldn't imagine when i was growing up walking through red square or going to a russian company and working hand in hand with my russian colleagues or going to their families homes and having dinner with them and likewise when they come to the u.s. and so i think. maybe we're not competing but we're working together think it's more of a time of joint cooperation and learning from one another that's just as healthy as the competition we had in
