clyde williams [applause] . most of you have worked with clyde in his political shop. they have long wanted to go back to you in new york where they are from and that will be moving back to new york. i said the other day, it is bittersweet, except we will not really miss clyde because we will be fighting the same values in doing the same work. he will not be on south capitol in washington, he will be in new york and beyond and abroad and doing great things. we know you have so much public service left in you. we thank you for your wonderful contribution to this organization and we look forward to working for the with you down the road. please give him a round of applause. commissioner clyde: item 15, general public comment. president o'brien: seeing none, next item. clerk: item 16, new business. commissioner kasselman: i would like to support a resolution that urges or requests the the department of building inspection and planning to expedite the relocation of those businesses and also, you know, the northern waterfront is on to be affected by the loss of all of those people working in that area. the shop in the area and eat out in that area, so i think it expedited process for a beneficial relocation should be encouraged, if we could draft a resolution, i would be very grateful period -- grateful. president o'brien: it was mentioned in the president's report, but i did have a meeting with the senior plumbing inspector at dbi, and he has advised me, and this may already be documented, about the legislation, and very briefly, the gist of this conversation was, you know, if we can be successful in the outreach and allow people to be aware of the legislation, it is going to be a lot better than if the dbi is called out there because of a complaint.

good evening, clyde. how are you? >> i am a little appalled some of our media outlets.some of the nonprofits are really playing this up. i know a lot more about these officers. i know a lot of them. they do not run around shooting people in wheelchairs'. they do not find somebody who looks a little weird and draw a 40 and shoot him. nonprofits are playing this up in the press. some of these people in wheelchairs' do not really need wheelchairs. walk down fifth street. there is a guy who gets $10 from tourists and walks to the tenderloin. we really need to look at this mental illness issue. how do we do mentally ill? our police department to stomach the habit of just shooting mentally ill people. if they had occasion, maybe it would not had to go like that. i am sorry at the murder rate the past few days. it is horrible. what that man did burning the car with that lady is puzzling, the most puzzling thing i have ever read. i wish him the death penalty. he would get the death penalty, a pri. president mazzucco: hearing no other public comment, please call line item number
