representing the cms in our role here. so being that it's a number deviseable by five, i thought it was important to take a step back and reflect that important milestone and take a look to see how how the financial status of the program has changed. back and reflect that important it's a short period of time, but there are significant changes that go through, that are reflected each and every year and so just take a little bit of a step back and see how those, see how the programs have changed and the fairly recent past. i'd like to start with this slide because one of the important responsible of the tree's reports is to reflect the financial condition of the programs. that projection looks out 75 years. this slide to me highlights how challenging that prospect is. we do our best. the best economic assumptions to doing so. but if you were to stand in 1977 and try to look just 40 years into the future, the likelihood that you would be able to project that pie certainly how that pie is distributed, maybe you can get close
