according to the coast guard, they're sawing a 911 call came in around 7:30 p.m. person in distress in the water near the popular cliff house restaurants. san francisco fire officials assisted the coast guard initially with this search. a cutter with the coast guard will remain on the scene to search for this victim. the beach hasnis set at dangero back in february of this year you had a 45-year-old man rescued from the surf by crews after he was found face down in the water and he suffered critical injuries as a result and then august of last year, you had a 29-year-old man dying while surfing in the water here at ocean beach. and then in april of 2016 you had two teams swept out into the water by rip current presumed to have drowned after search efforts for the two were unsuccessful and the coast guard also mentioned they want to remind folks to always wear a life jacket and to call 911 if you see someone in trouble out there. they plan to meet up with fire with the rest of the crews to assess what the game plan would be as far as the search goes moving forward.
