and as a result of that, a possible waterspout here in this video was spotted in cobb island today. a tornado warning was issued for charles county this afternoon. so far, the national weather service hasn't confirmed if that is a tornado. tornado warning came about at about noon today, for about half an hour. heavy rainfall in many of our areas with lots of lightning. things have calmed down. rain in delmarva, and lightning to the south. we had a little bit that was kicking up before in loudoun county. it's out of the way. i can't say we're out of the clear 100% for tonight yet. let's go to our weather maps and we'll show you what is happening elsewhere. we have a lot of moisture that's going to be pushing up from the south, as a result of this weak low pressure system. that is what will set us up for a chance of getting more wet weather into the course of tonight. we have this weak low pressure system here. next thing is a frontal system moving in from the west. a combination of these things happening leaving us a little bit unsettled. rainfall totals today, taken from earlier tod

. >> this is the water spout near cobb island. around 1:15 this afternoon. that's when they issued a tornado warning. it was a water spout, something neat to look at and caused absolutely no damage. speaking of damage, we could be looking at a potentially very dangerous storm churning in the gulf of mexico. this is the latest track for isaac with maximum sustained winds at around 65 miles per hour gusts at 75 and its location about 300 miles south of tampa. here's our extended outlook that calls for temperatures to warm tomorrow into the upper 80s. we'll see the same on tuesday and then slightly cooler wednesday and thursday. >> thank you very much for watching. >> we'll be right back with more political coverage.

it formed near cobb island. it doesn't appear the water spout came on land and turned into a tornado. the rain we had caused a sinkhole in baltimore to get even bigger. check out this crater along east monument street of the the hole opened weeks ago and was filled temporarily. but nearly five inches of rain sunday washed it away and stretched that sinkhole out. road crews returned to the scene today and tried to shore things up with steel plates so businesses can reopen. >>> today there will be a viewing for prince george's county police officer adrian morris. his car crashed off the side of interstate 95 and then land in a ditch. the two men morris was pursuing are both in custody. today's viewing will be on powder mill road, one from 2:00 to 4:00 and another from 7:00 to 9:00. the funeral is set for tomorrow? women who are breast cancer survivors have another reason to watch their weight. a new study finds women who are overweight have a higher risk of the disease coming back. being overweight or obese gives
