so cochran for hearing back from bart police this morning and police say they believe the attack appears to be unprovoked. we have confirmed it was a stabbing. an arrest has been made. but this does remain an ongoing investigation. police were called around 12, 18 in the morning. and here's what we've learned this morning. 44 year-old tamir edwards has been arrested and booked into the alameda county jail. police say as words was allegedly stabbed or stabbing another person on board a bart train as it was arriving to the station. and this is video of the scene overnight see officers working the scene gathering any information they can get from any sort of witnesses there. this all happened at the 19th street bart station overnight and police say on the bottom platform, witnesses telling our photographer at the scene that one person was taken to the hospital and we've learned the victim was injured, but is expected to be okay. police say the motive remains under investigation. but as we have mentioned, police say the attack does appear to be unprovoked. police were able to moving quickly,
