i'm an atheist and to me it's cognitive distance.can't believe anything on anything other than evidence. that's my view of reality. but i think it's something else to go into the minds of other people and say whether or not they are being 100% rational. i think that's, you know, that's a judgment about how people create their identities. and i think that we all frankly are to varying degrees irrational at varying times. so to me it is a kind of compatibility if somebody says that god created the world and evolution happened in the world god created. it worksor them. i can see how you can create a have a constructive argument about why, is that really what you think? how do you know god exists because you don't have evidence for it? in some sense the evidenc for god is just the same a evidence for any other supernatural entity or what have you and you can't prove any of it. you get into a discussion and that's fine. but i think you should -- we should respect the fact that it rks for a lot of people. and given how many penple are not
