i had a chance to meet with members of coleman advocates. they told me a serious story about low income youth in the city. there is about 900 kids, primarily african-american and hispanic, low-income, the dots -- that got f grades and were not going to graduate unless they went to summer school. he no state law is to have to pass those glasses to graduates -- classes to graduate. you're going to see a whole generation of low-income kids not graduate from high school. knowing there is in the generation of kids who will not graduate, who will be idled, will not have anything to do, they're not willing to find jobs. guess what? they are going to be on our streets. they are going to be in trouble. so, we costed that out to the tune of $200,000 in the summer. within days, we found that money. i said, i am not going to suffer another generation of kids walking our streets. we were able to do that because of the commitment to our city has to low-income kids. that has to be another example, not only that we managed the city with the best of our brai
