colfax is wearing a kn-95 mask and he says there is lots of infection happening and he recommends continuing to wear a high- quality mask indoors to avoid infection and make sure to be up to date on your booster shot. >>> one of the most observable issues san francisco battles his opioid addiction and its homeless population. the mayor today highlighted one of the city's responses to that crisis and she visited one of the new permanent supportive housing programs in the south homeless area, 15 room long- term facility that includes services for people who just got out of jail. residents can stay as long as they like and pay no more than a 30% of their income. >> all you got to do is lk out on the stre wh the people that live on this block and take a block by within our own hearts. don't blame nobody else if you ain't doing nothing. >> the 15 units are among the whole network of several buildings that provide -- single people and entire families. 14,000 people are housed in the cities permanent supportive housing projects. >>> this next story stinks bad. after people complaining for weeks abo

colfax said, our staff is exhausted and tired. they have to deal front line with dealing with covid-19 while also dealing with themselves, so we need staff to be able to support them. we will continue to partner with the unions, educational institutions and d.h.r. to expand promotive pathways for so they stay with us and build careers with us. we've had interesting conversations where they have a pathway for food service workers to become chefs, which is a great opportunity. we have dedicated staff specifically to internal workforce initiatives and we provide one-on-one career coaching in other services. as we wrapped up negotiations, we will continue to work with labor partners to look for ways to streamline our processes like collapsing our qualifications. we have way too many. if you're a social worker, there are four or five different recruitments you have to apply for just to be a social worker. we have to broaden our minimum qualifications are too technical. many others. but in the interest of time, i will not go into those.

when african americans try to defend themselves when they they're fighting for democracy like at colfax louisiana or in hamburg, south carolina, and theyff the y head. no. are you a supporter of the second amendment? i'm a supporter of rights. i think that the second amendment really needs to go the way of the three-fifths clause. that it was born. it was born out of anti-blackness born out of racism and that the anti-blackness makes the implementation of the second amendment so difficult because it's like black people are the designated threat the default threat in american society and so bearing arms then exponentially increases that threat but when they are unarmed they are vulnerable there is so much work to be done about the second amendment that is beyond the second amendment after the murder of philando castile. did you have any knowledge when you begin your research about this topic? no, i didn't. i mean i went hunting going do african-americans have second amendment rights and that sent me back into the 17th century and i started looking at the slave codes and started seeing th
