colfax has been helpful to listening to us and being open and honest with us. so i want you to know that we very much appreciate that. but now we need the commission to take a position that it is unacceptable to use public dollars to bust the union. these workers need to be lifted up out of poverty. they need to be treated with dignity and respect. they need to be honored for the challenging work that they do. but more than 80 of them have resigned in the last three years. now that says something about the conduct of the employer, and it says something about the discouragement of the workers who are giving up their work for very very low wages to offer a service to san franciscans who's families desperately need these services. but his turnover rate and vacancy rate is simply unacceptable. so 16 million dollars, this year, he is slated to get more than 5 million dollars on track by this department over the next decade. we ask you to review the new language passed by the board of supervisors, we ask your assistance and holding al gilbert accountable as a ceo and

right now, they're holding traffic right around colfax. so if your viewers are familiar with this part of the drive up into the sierra, you know that colfax is a little bit lower in elevation before you hit the real snowy, wintry type weather conditions as we headed eastbound into the sierra this morning, we have some video to show you of what we encountered. there's snow on the roadways, snow on interstate 80 and chain controls in effect. so for drivers headed up in this direction as we get toward the weekend, you're going to want to make sure you are prepared just in case. i know we're not really expecting much in the way of a huge system over the weekend, but it's always a good idea at this time of year for folks headed up into the sierra to have those traction devices, have your chains or make sure your vehicle is equipped with all wheel drive because caltrans crews do check back at checkpoints making sure that drivers are prepared for those types of conditions. we saw, again, snow on the roadways. some patchy fog, even some snow flurr
