colin paterson, bbc news. time for a look at the weather, here's tomasz schafernaker.ny problems with my name! anyway. it has been a real bluster across the uk today, howling gales across western parts of scotla nd gales across western parts of scotland and northern ireland. tomorrow, another blustery day but a lot of sunshine around. there has been today and there is more on the way tomorrow. this storm, which has been side sweeping us the worst of the weather out to sea, has been bringing some of these rough conditions the coasts of scotland and northern ireland, some very heavy rain here, so two extremes with the bad weather in the north west and the slightly better weather to the south. that is what will be happening. the rest of the country is going to have clear spells foot of the breeze will be picking up because this low pressure is with us through that we can, at least to much of saturday. eventually it will pull away but by the time it does it will have left a lot of rainfall across western parts of scotland, maybe even 100 millimetres in some spots. 0n maybe
