they don't want to leave the field here at the coliseum. emotions are running high, not only for the fans, but also for the players. you talked about manager mark kotsay before the game. you know, normally he's stoic, but before the game he was walking around shaking hands, taking pictures. i saw several players grabbing the dirt and putting it in plastic bottles so they could save a part of history. so at least one one more day, the players were able to give the fans a reason to cheer. they had a32 victory in their final game at the coliseum. after the game was over, the players went on the field, saluted the fans, then went to the dirt on home plate pitcher's mound and took a picture. a team picture they were celebrating. they were thanking the fans, honoring them for all their support. here's what they had to say after the game about all the support they've received from oakland. it's sad. you know, it's sad to see the last franchise in oakland leave. you know, it's a bummer again, like we all wish we could. you know, probably stay here
