is your music written collaborative lee or do that solo?don't get me wrong, i have production teams the lyrical content is usually me. i might accept the hook from someone, but i don't have verses written because i have always been an artist that has been respected and held in high regard for bringing my life. no one else can write my life for me but me. tavis: the up side of that is that you sell millions of records. is there a challenge or a downside to being so transparent about your life? >> the only downside is that people always feel like they know you, even when they don't. you only knew what i told you. there are other things that i chose not to mention, for whatever reason that leaves you in the dark. you're still observing from a limited space. but i think all in all, that is the best way to connect to the people. in today's climate, the music industry, given all of the digital technology, there has to be something more than the music that drives people to you. for me, if i have a hot sun or not, and these people are turning into

when we are working together, collaborative lee, that is when we are at our best. >> the unions quite frequently are there to make sure that the environment the teachers are working in a satisfactory and improve that. also to make sure their compensation is fair and reasonable. of this area of the valuation always seems to come -- but this area of evaluation always seems to come into conflict. >> that is because of recipes for evaluation. i have yet to meet a teacher anywhere in the world who does not go into their classroom with one intention and one intention only, and that is to improve on the previous day. i do not think teachers have ever been more accountable at any time in history than we are now keeping political scrutiny, media scrutiny, student scrutiny. we have never been more accountable. let's get that right. we are accountable. we except accountability. all we say is the we accept responsibility toward our students, we want government to accept the obligation to make sure classrooms are properly resources the -- properly restores -- resourced. >> are the challenges back

we will be working collaborative lee to come up with a solution to solve that problem. they have created a wonderful website that clearly states what you need to do to be compliant. >> that is what christopher is doing in london then, right? >> yes. >> one more question for jay, and i think we should open up for questions from everyone here. tell us what existing city initiatives -- you know, this -- the schering economy working group will interface with or connect with, and how does it fit in with existing strategic goals and plans of the city? >> i think our director of environment in our city has issued a goal for 2020, being mission -- emission free, carbon neutral. that is something that when you think about the economic impact of these new business models, it can contribute quite greatly to that. i am going to answer the question a little bit differently -- i have been inspired by this space considerably. there's a lot more opportunity. cars, so many assets we have in our society. as a city, we own buildings, cubicles, museums, golf courses, so much that we have -

it has got to be done collaborative lee. so, i think they will learn more. >> there is an issue that has been talked about here in washington, cyber security. that there should be clear divide between democrats and republicans on cyber security. basically, what do you think going forward is the best strategy when it comes to cyber security? >> again, this is one where i do not pretend to expertise, but i do know the administration is looking for ways to protect american companies and the american economy and american infrastructure from cyber attacks. that is a critical national security issue. i understand the position of industry, different industries, worried about what is going to happen. but we have to fess up to the to protecte need ourselves. we really do. i think that will be a major point in the next congress. is really only getting worse. there is a number of international things that also have to be worked out. and i think that will come to a head in the next a administration as well. >> obviously, cyber security
