and so i am very, very proud of the collaborativive effort that it took and the hard work that it tookth from our department and the parks and rec department, and frankly other city departments that helped in various aspects of it. and i will tell you that it is really proud to be able to stand here and to be able to tell you that yes it does work and it performs very well and we delivered it on time and on budget and those are things that don't always come together all at once and so that is a great achievement that came through a lot of hard work and the collaborativive effort and on top of it, we have kind of as a bonus, to the vision of sfwi-fi, we simplify and unified the brand, and the user experience, and that is what this is really all about, and we, extended ourselves to make sure that we tested this from the end user standpoint and we went to the parks and as an end user, measured how usable and functional it really was, because at the end of the day, it is easy for a technologyist to get caught up in the technical aspects if it works or doesn't work and we sometimes forget t

domestic violence for the agencies and the community partner and that means that we work in a very collaborativive way, for just the violence and cross training and training over 437 criminal justice... (inaudible) and that includes, judges, that includes all other personnel that are working within our criminal justice system. and we have also made sure that we have victim responses to the system to working with the district attorney office, and to work with and there are domestic violence unit, and just all of this demeanor and the felony domestic violence cases and the courts have improved the safety in the court rooms and for the survivors, and instituting, the wait periods and for them to allow for the survivors time to leave the building. and there was a time when the cases could get shuffled and lost along the various, and the other care taking of the other issues and so where the people and the department of the emergency management, and we created new 911 codes for the domestic violence and stalking. and the medical examiner now tracks, homicides and suicides. and related to the domestic v

bike coalition and walk sf and china town, and senior disability, action and central city, sro collaborativive. and just a couple of take aways that i had and i know that norman is going to share some of his i was impressed by their work on the city drivers in particular and both are the large vehicles, but any city employee that drives in new york city. and it is something that i think that san francisco should model itself after and use some of their curriculum, and they have the tracking devices on all of the vehicles and the tracking devices, which will track how hard they accelerate and whether they are wearing seat belt and a number of things and the driver, education course is definitely, a whole other level and with mta which is a separate agency from the city, they have now made it their policy that it does not matter whose fault it is, that the driver should always be driving defensely, and i think that those shifts will impact the ability to achieve vision zero and we got to hear from one of the chiefs in sweden and he talked about how they were able to cut the number of deaths in h
