colleen ferreira joins us live with a preview. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. gary and corey. good to be with you guys. we know that brandon and kyle clark will be monitoring the debate later tonight. now, the questions are not released ahead of candidates really have no idea what could come their way. but i did speak with brandon yesterday and, you know, it's safe to say that the presidential election will come up in the debate tonight. over the weekend, glenn changed his position on donald trump. this all happened after that leak of the access hollywood tape. in the tape donald trump heard saying inappropriate comments about women. in the statement glenn said that he is calling for trump to nominee. during the developments, bennett said that donald trump is not qualified to serve as president. remember michael bennet is the incumbent. he has to convince colorado that he is the best choice again. his track record will come up tonight for su past month about how they are planning to win colorado. and how they're different from their opponent. >> all you have to

operation cross country has saved 82 children in its tenth nationwide sting. 9 news reporter colleen ferreira is getting new information from the fbi about raids that took place in colorado. colleen. >> the raids took place in colorado last thursday, friday and saturday. they took place at hotels, truck stops, street corners. and they say on social media apps so they could target the traffickers. taking place around the country and the latest operation that took place last week. the fbi says two dozen juveniles in colorado and wyoming are exposed every year. this is their yearly effort to rescue them and arrest those responsible for exploiting then. now, in this operation last year, they rescued 20 children and they arrested 7 traffickers here in colorado. the nationwide operation last week recovered 82 un 239 people exploiting those victims. so later this morning, we know that the fbi was going to release how many juveniles were recovered last week locally and how many people were arrested in the latest sting. this was the biggest operation to date moving it to cambodia and the philippines.

colleen ferreira joins us live charges in this case. >> reporter: 13 charges, cheryl. and those included four counts of vehicular assault, eight counts of child abuse and one charge of driving while under the influence. last wednesday, she took a plea deal and that included pleading guilty to one count of careless driving. that sentencing is here at the boulder county justice center later today. the case was supposed to go to trial at the end of the month. attorney asked to learn more about the crash investigation. according to court document, burris was reported to be driving erratically before the crash last december. a doctor, nurse and state trooper testified that she didn't seem impaired after the crash when they responded and treated her. that sentencing is at 3:30 today. she is expected to face a $300 fine, 12 months of unsupervised probation, and community service. guys, this was a case that we followed extensively when it when she flipped that school bus. children were involved. some children were injured. this is something that we will be following closely to
